Piraeus Broker and KOUTINAS SA, partners in promoting professional indemnity insurance in Romania

Greek Piraeus Insurance Broker and brokerage company KOUTINAS SA, LLOYD’S Coverholders, have agreed to promote professional liability insurance in Romania. (http://bit.ly/ujnvZr)

"We managed to make ourselves known in the Romanian insurance market and to develop our strong network across the country. Given the auto insurance segment registered a decline, we intend to continue business development by channeling sales force and to other products. We believe that professional indemnity insurance is a segment that will grow with the changing economy and social system. Basis of this partnership to promote professional liability insurance in Romania, was set in the International Insurance Mediation Conference, organized by Media XPRIMM, in Istanbul in March this year.  Discussions between Cristian Balanica and George KOUTINAS continued to Sinaia, at FIAR - International Insurance - Reinsurance in 2011 and have resulted in the signing of partnership agreement in Athens on November 11.

According to recent statements by George KOUTINAS, his company intends to expand its activities in the nearby European Union countries in Southeastern Europe, where Greece is close geographically, by virtue of the “Freedom of Services basis.
